This week, we had a chat with our top wine merchant, winesetal, to draw up a list of must have drinks for any occasion. So whether you are celebrating a birthday, wedding, Christmas party, or just looking to hang out with friends and family, here are our 10 must have drinks….cheers:
1. Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle
Grand Siecle expresses the quintessence of champagne and French refinement.

2. Veuve Clicqout Brut
It’s rich and robust with bread and apple aromas and yeasty,baked favors combined with apples and a bit of pear on the palate. Serve Chilled
3. Casa de la Ermita Dulce Monastrell
A very cloudy, purplish red; almost opaque in colour. The nose offers good levels of ripe berry with hints of spice and sweetness. On the palate it is extremely well-balanced and with well developed forest fruit suggestions. Tasty, sweet, persistent and with good tannins, which offset the sweetness – which is not excessive. Very enjoyable. This Spanish dessert wine Casa de la Ermita Dulce Monastrell is perfect for those who like to be surprised by wine.Very sweet with a cooling finish. Serve between 7°C and 8°C

7. Martini Rose
Bubbly, pretty and very now. Speaks for itself really. Lovely raspberry and strawberry flavours with a little elderberry, and only 8% alcohol. Serve Chilled
8. Four Cousins Natural Sweet Red
A fragrant, ruby-red wine with soft rose-petal perfume. Flavours of ripe plums, strawberries and exotic spices are followed by a soft, lingering finish. Serve chilled.
9. Escudo Rojo
Aroma: Blackcurrant, liquorice and cherry brandy aromas with spicier touches of nutmeg. Colour: Deep ruby red Palate: Full-bodied, dry, round and smooth Serve Red Wines at 15°C

Garnet ruby red colour; fresh red berries, cherry and oak spice on the nose with ; dry, medium to full-bodied with cherry and oak flavour, great mouth feel, well balanced with medium length finish. Serve Red Wines at 15°C
